CONOR MCGREGOR has addressed the incident where he sent the Miami Heat mascot to the hospital during the NBA Finals.
The UFC star came onto the court at half-time of the game between Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat, where he performed a skit with Burnie the mascot.

McGregor threw a punch at Burnie after the 7’6″ orange-furred mascot came out wearing huge golden boxing gloves.
‘Notorious’ proceeded to ‘knock-out’ Burnie and pound another punch into him as he lay on the court.
However, all was seemingly not well afterwards after reports came out saying that the mascot took the hit a little too strongly and was sent to hospital.
That’s according to The Athletic, who claim he was transported to “the emergency room of a nearby hospital for treatment.”
McGregor has broken his silence over the incident and insisted that ‘all is well’ with Burnie.
He told TMZ: “The mascot is good. It was a skit, and all is well.
“I spent a lot of time with him afterwards, we talked it out, everything is great. It was all part of the show!”
MMA fans were quick to comment on the news of McGregor hospitalising the poor mascot, with one saying: “McGregor playing the part of the Nuggets in this skit.”
Another said: “Not sure who in the Heat org thought it was a great idea to parade him out there in the first place.”
And another said: “Only KO Conor will ever get again.”
McGregor’s appearance was due to a centre court promotion of TIDL, a cryotherapy pain relief spray.
Some fans loved McGregor’s half-time entertainment, with many taking to Twitter to voice their amusement.
One user wrote: “One of a kind, no one better.”
Another added: “This is the s**t this man was made for. This is awesome.”
The Crumlin native wore a red velveteen tracksuit which divided fans’ opinions.
One fan compared him to Ben Stiller’s character in the movie ‘Zoolander’.
McGregor will be hoping to provide more entertainment later in the year when he returns to the Octagon to take on Michael Chandler.
McGregor’s clash with Chandler will be his first outing since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier nearly two and a half years ago.
Chandler, meanwhile, has gone 1-1 in his last two outings – the most recent of which saw him suffer a third-round submission defeat to Poirier.
